A wheel spinner for every decision
SpinJoy is a free online wheel spinner that picks one option at random. Add anything you like (names, prizes, places to eat, chores, game dares) and spin. It works for classrooms, raffles and giveaways, team meetings, party games, or just deciding what to have for dinner.
How to use the random picker wheel
- Add your options. Type them one at a time, paste a whole list with Bulk edit, or start from a quick-fill set such as Food, Names or Truth or Dare.
- Spin the wheel. Tap the wheel, press the SPIN button, swipe across it on a phone, or press the space bar.
- See the result. The winner pops up with confetti. Keep it, remove it for the next round, or add it to the tally.
Fair odds or weighted odds
By default every slice is the same size, so every option has the same chance. Turn on Weights to make some options more likely: an entry with weight 3 gets a slice three times bigger than an entry with weight 1. The wheel shows each entry’s chance as a percentage.
Ready-made wheels
Need something specific? Try the random name picker, the yes or no wheel, the random number wheel, the letter wheel, or split a group with the random team generator.
There are also wheels for countries, US states, colors, your own pictures, dates, giveaway comments, NBA, NFL and MLB teams, plus a flag quiz and a truth or dare wheel.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel spin really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, and every slice wins in proportion to its size. The spinning animation then lands on that slice.
Is SpinJoy free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no account, no sign-up and no limit on spins.
How many entries can the wheel have?
There’s no fixed limit. Labels stay readable up to a few hundred entries, and you can untick entries to take them off the wheel without deleting them.
Can I remove the winner after each spin?
Yes. Press Remove in the result popup, or turn on “Remove winner after each spin” in Settings → Result. This is handy for raffles and giveaways.
Where are my wheels saved?
In your own browser, using local storage. Nothing is uploaded, and your wheels are there next time you visit on the same device.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The layout adapts to any screen. On a phone you can tap or swipe the wheel to spin it.
